Long Distance Love

So who ever thought that being in a long distance relationship would actually happen, the possibility of waking up one day to going about to the usual activities searching online websites like Tumblr, tweeting on Twitter and Role playing on chat rooms; meeting someone who comes along and literally pulls you off your feet. For some people their other half is 1,000 miles away so they can't see them most the time they will visit when they can, others they live just a couple of hours away so it's a train journey away but it's still a long distance relationship no matter how many miles we have to save up the money for that journey and organise it all properly without any faults.
I am an LDR with a wonderful guy which in April it's going to be 3 full years of being together. This is the first relationship I've ever had and he makes me feel great, he's the kind of guy I love to be around because he's always joking, never fails to make me laugh and he's amazing. I never knew of Long Distance Relationships until I met him and fell head over heels in love with him I don't regret anything at all.
There is an age gap but it's nothing extreme, it's 2 years in-between but I'm happy I feel more mature with him yet we can still act young and be silly because we are in love it's best to have fun and a good time instead of being too serious at the wrong time.  As with any other relationship we can't say that it will be forever all we can do is just wait it all out and see what the future holds, all couples in a relationship want that great future, being married for years to come bringing up the the moment where you announce you are having a baby. It's what most of us want, I want that but I wouldn't rush into it I would love to come home to him one day and spend the weekends in bed doing nothing but it won't happen just yet it's going to take a lot of effort and time. I love him he means everything to me and he truly makes me the best I can be.
I hope that anyone else in a LDR has a good year and enjoys their time with the SO, have a great new year. xo
